On last Thursday, the rapper canceled her all upcoming tours with hit singer Bruno Mars so that she can spend more time with her daughter Kulture Kiari at home.
Cardi B had scheduled her dates for the final leg "24K Magic" tour with Bruno Mars from September. But what she wrote for her fans and followers on Instagram reflected another scenario. "As of today, I've decided I won't be joining Bruno on tour this Fall. I thought that after giving birth to my daughter that 6 weeks would be enough time for me to recover mentally and physically. I also thought that I'd be able to bring her with me on tour, but I think I underestimated this whole mommy thing."
The rapper is not taking the situation lightly. The 25 years old is married to Offset almost one year before and now the couple is parents of a baby girl. Cardi B knows that her newborn needs her time before any tour.
"Not only am I just not ready physically, I'm not ready to leave my baby behind since the doctors explained it's not healthy for her to be on the road," she continued. "I hope you guys understand that this decision has been the hardest to make but I have to do what's best for myself and my baby!"
She thanked Bruno Mars for “being so supportive and understanding." And he, on the other hand, proved that she was right.
"Most important thing is you and your family's health," he wrote in a post addressing her directly. "I know the fans will understand."
Bruno Mars told her that the decision is absolutely right for her and for her family and he would love to
For now, he promised to perform her major hit “Bodak Yellow” to honor her every day until the end of the tour.
